My Favourite TV Programme
Whether we realise it or not, TV plays an important part in our lives. In my opinion, watching TV is losing its popularity with teenagers. The reason is that teenagers prefer the Internet to TV. But sometimes I watch TV and my favourite programme is “Heads and Tails”. I watch this programme regularly and try not to miss the next issue.
I’d like to tell you a little bit about this programme. “Heads and Tails” airs on Pyatnica Channel in Russia twice a week in the evening. Also it is available on satellite TV and through the Internet via its website, http://orel-i-reshka.friday.ru/ .
The presenters of the show are Anastasia Ivleeva and Anton Ptushkin. Every weekend they travel to different cities of the world. As the rules of this programme, one of the presenters must live only on $100 and the second one can spend as much money from a golden bank card as possible. To choose who will live with a golden card, the presenters throw a coin. If they get “heads”, the presenter who throw a coin, will get a golden card. During the programme, the presenters introduce the viewers with the landmarks of this city.
In conclusion, I’d like to say that I like this programme very much because I love travelling a lot. I think that it is a really informative show and you can learn a lot about different cities.
