I 1 am writing to apply for the post of 2 a sales assistant which I 3 saw last Friday's evening. I have some experience of shop work, as I 4 helped my aunt out in her newsagent's every weekend last year. My responsibilities there 5 included serving customers and counting money at the end of the day. I 6 am 7 a hard-working and responsible person, who 8 enjoys working with people. I 9 met many interesting people in the shop.
I would 10 be very grateful for the opportunity to visit your shop and discuss my application with you face to face. I 11 am available for 12 an interview and can start work on 24th June.
